Vegan Whipped Cream

A lot of coconut cream & coconut milk has been tested/whipped to get here. Some have turned out super runny, some have separated into water and coconut oil, some have just tasted really off. The secret I have found is to use the creamy top of good coconut milk and chill it super well. AROY-D is the brand that has worked the best and given consistent, excellent results. As long as it is properly chilled, this coconut cream will whip up exceedingly fast and give you a lush, smooth and light whipped cream. Enjoy!


 

Ingredients

 

1 can of AROY-D coconut milk, chilled*

vanilla and powdered sugar to taste


 

*It is best to chill it at least overnight

 

Instructions

 

1. Carefully scoop the creamy top of the coconut cream off and place it into a bowl, there should be only a tiny bit of water at the bottom of the can. Beat the coconut cream for a couple minutes, until it is light and fluffy, add in the sugar and vanilla. Serve on pies, ice cream, cakes, waffles, pancakes, french toast, hot chocolate, cobblers, etc. Store in the fridge for around 3 days.
