You ready for a dessert you could devour by the bucket? That might even be a realistic rhetorical question because it's VERY easy to make. Also, how cool is it that you get to play with fire!!? I thought a butane torch sounded intimidating to begin with, but little did I know how effortless they are to use. I've been casually having caramelized/charred things all the time now. A truly marvelous investment.

Ingredients (for 6 servings)
400g silken tofu
250g coconut milk
100g sugar
2 Tbs nutritional yeast
1 tsp vanilla paste
40g cornstarch
pinch of salt
pinch of turmeric (optional; for color)
sugar to top with
*nice with fruit!
Instructions
1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to a pot on medium high heat and stir constantly until the mixture thickens.
2. Portion the thick custard out between 6 ramekins and allow it to chill in the fridge (covered) for at least 4 hours (or overnight).
3. Right before serving, sprinkle a thin layer of sugar over the top and caramelize according to your butane torch's instructions.
